Rwanda Wildlife Encounters
Welcome to Rwanda, the Land of a Thousand Hills, where luxury meets ecstasy. A place with warm and friendly people and amazing natural wonders.
Rwanda is blessed with remarkable biodiversity, including magnificent wildlife living all over its volcanoes, montane rainforest and endless savannah. The beautiful Volcanoes National Park is home to the endangered elusive mountain gorilla whose population has increased because of the conservation efforts that Dian Fossey started. Seeing these captivating primates through the forest is a demanding adventure but beyond life-changing.
Whereas gorilla tracking in Rwanda is the most famous tourist attraction there, there is much more to see and experience: The translucent blue waters of Lake Kivu and its shores offer a pleasant relaxing environment for the visitors. At the lake, happy fishermen sing as one as they sail across. In the neighbouring villages, pastoralists are proud of their herds of Ankole long-horned cattle, and the cleanliness of the streets makes Rwanda the cleanest country in Africa. Please keep in mind that Rwanda is a plastic-free country, therefore, don’t bring polythene bags.
When to Visit Rwanda
