Arrive in Dar es Salaam and drive to Nyerere National Park. The drive takes approximately 5 to 6 hours, offering scenic views along the way. After lunch and some relaxation, embark on your first game drive to explore the park’s diverse landscapes and spot various wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, and antelopes.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Start your day with an early morning game drive. This is your first time seeing predators like lions and leopards as they are more active during the cooler hours. Return to the lodge for brunch and some leisure time. You can relax in the pool or enjoy the serene surroundings.
In the afternoon, head out for a river safari on River Rufiji. Keep an eye out for hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. The river offers a unique perspective of the park’s wildlife.
Enjoy a sundowner as you watch the sunset over the African bush this evening. Afterwards, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Embark on a guided walking safari, an intimate experience that allows you to learn about the smaller details of the bush, including plants, insects, and animal tracks. Return to the lodge for breakfast and some relaxation.
After lunch, set out on another game drive to explore a different area of the park. Look out for herds of buffalo, zebras, and wildebeests. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
